2015 Campus Climate Sexual Assault and Sexual Misconduct Survey

In April 2015, MU participated in the Association of American Universities (AAU) Campus Climate Sexual Assault and Sexual Misconduct Survey. At MU, 4,750 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students completed the survey. On September 21, 2015, the AAU released reports describing the results for MU and 26 other institutions.

MU’s participation in the survey and frank discussion of the results will allow us to create a safer campus environment. Provost Garnett Stokes is creating a Sexual Violence Prevention and Campus Climate Task Force that will closely examine the report, hold focus groups, and make recommendations to improve ongoing education and prevention efforts. The task force will build upon the excellent work of the MU Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention (RSVP) Center.
