What Do We Do?

Informal Inquiry

We assist individuals who believe they may have been harassed or treated differently than others in the same situation through an informal inquiry process.

Bias Reporting

Our office seeks to track bias incidents, including hate crimes, via our anonymous web-based Bias Reporting Form. A bias incident is any act of intolerance which is committed against any person, group, or property and which discriminates, stereotypes, harasses, or excludes anyone based on some part of their identity. By voluntarily supplying their name and contact information, people can also initiate the inquiry process.

Faculty Exit Interviews

Once we have notice of ranked faculty who are terminating their employment, we invite them to complete a faculty exit interview.

Training and Workshops

Our office provides education and assistance on institutional matters of equity and compliance through the offering of Training and Workshops.
