Who We Help
You should seek Equity Office assistance if you are:
- Faculty, student, or staff
- Believe you have been treated unfairly, and
- Want to resolve the situation
The Equity Office’s emphasis is on eradicating illegal discrimination and correcting inequities. If you categorically refuse all manner of resolving the conflict, then the Equity Office may not be the right office for you because we might be required to act on what you tell us. You might be better advised to submit an anonymous Bias Incident Reporting form and/or to seek counseling assistance, where you can get advice in the strictest of confidence.
On the other hand, if you think you might want to do something but you’re just not sure what that action should be, or you would need assistance to perform the action, then the Equity Office can help you.
